Who this covers

This policy applies to Aura Technologies Pty Ltd and to this website. We are based in Melbourne, Australia, and we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

This is an informational website. It has no enquiry form, user accounts, or sign-in. If you contact Aura by email, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include.

Software and product development enquiries are directed to Nomad Labs. Information you provide on that website is covered by its own privacy policy.

What we do not collect

This site does not add tracking cookies. We run no analytics, no advertising network, no tracking pixels, and no session recording. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other sites. Typefaces are served from our own domain, so viewing a page makes no request to a third party on your behalf.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which include the IP address a request came from. We use those only to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

We use what you send us to reply to you and to assess your enquiry. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Where it is stored

Vercel hosts this website. Correspondence sent directly to Aura is handled through our email service. Our service providers may process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. When it is no longer needed for any purpose we are permitted to use it for, we delete it or de-identify it.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@auratechnologies.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for making a request.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first at the same address so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date shown at the top of it.
